     Northcrest Calisthenics Club
Northcrest Calisthenics Club, new in 2003, is a non-profit club, situated in the Melbourne suburb of Lalor. We have approximately 50 members and 6 young, innovative coaches and assistants who choreograph routines the participants enjoy.
Items include free exercises, rod exercises, club swinging, figure march, folk dancing, aesthetics (a soft flowing dance, similar to simplified ballet), song withactions, song and dance, calisthenics spectacular and stage medley; making calisthenics a truly unique sport.
Classes for 2006 will start Monday 6th February and Tuesday 7th February.
Participants learn and practice their routines for competitions which commence around the end of July. Each section competes in about 3 to 5 competitions per year, with an end of year display with award presentation held in November.
